Bittrex uses verification as an excuse to steal my Bitcoins!

October 9, 2017September 13, 2021 CoinRobin

I feel like I’m getting played by Bittrex and it’s really frustrating. I came to the conclusion that if you deposit a large amount of funds, they will disable the large account and freeze your funds due to “security precautions”. I deposited over 4k worth of USD and I got an email from Bittrex stating that I needed to go through some more additional identity verification processes, and, after a 24 hour wait my account and funds will be “unfrozen and all of the sites functionality will be enabled”.

I just don’t understand why my account was disabled only after I made the only ONE deposit.

After badgering their customer support, Bittrex finally provided me with a verification code for me to enter on their site, except it ended up being invalid. I retyped it, copy and pasted, looked at each letter slowly one by one to make sure I didn’t type it wrong. The code simply doesn’t work. About two months drag by while me and the Bittrex customer support are still bickering back and forth.

I still can’t log in and I still can’t do anything on Bittrex. My account is totally and completely frozen with over 4k USD deposited on there.

The support team isn’t replying to any of my requests and I have absolutely no idea as to what I should do! Screw all of these exchanges, wallets, and the Bitcoin itself!!!

My butterfingers deposited the money to the wrong wallet on LocalBitcoins.
BroCoin is a shitcoin and CryptoDAO has a monopoly of them.
